“The Audition Mindset” with Matt Newton

Matt is offering his popular monthly Zoom intensive to US actors 18+ who are actively auditioning. As we return to “live eco-cast/zoom auditions,” students need to tackle their audition prep a little differently, and make sure their lighting, sound and technology is on point, while also making sure the HUMANITY is coming across. Matt will assign each actor procedural/drama scripts based on your type (or you can bring your own) 48 hours before the workshop (per new SAG rules), and will coach you through making strong choices and enhancing your audition skills. Limited to 8 students. *no audition necessary. Agent/manager preferred but not required. Open to students all over the USA.

We require all new students to sign up a 10 minute zoom interview with our studio manager to find the right class for you. Once you book a time slot, please send your picture and resume to Sam@mnactingstudio.com. Please bring your 1-2 page scene to your zoom audition, and you will share it in the chat so that Sam can read with you. From there, we will recommend the right class for you.
