TV AUDITION BOOTCAMP WITH STACEY VAN GORDER (ONGOING) 

This on-camera “real world” audition bootcamp is designed for the actors who need to learn the ins and outs of auditioning in a challenging environment. In person class.

Each week actors will be assigned sides two days before class from current tv shows, and Stacey will work with each actor to maximize their choices, analyze the script, and find ways to make their on-camera auditions stronger and more professional. Class will include self tape tips, audition etiquette (action scenes, scenes with multiple characters, co stars vs guest stars), how to slate, figure out tone, and how to bring a character to life with a short prep time. Prerequisite: studio audition

HOW OUR WAITLISTS WORK

The standby list doesn’t mean the class is full. It means we are standing by to see if the current round wants to sign up for the next round before we allow anyone else to sign up. Current students get first dibs on holding their spot for the next round, and they have to tell us at the final class if they are staying or going. We are just holding their spots. Everyone on the waitlist will be sent an email with a signup link about a week before class. We will then take registrations on a first come, first serve basis.

If you are signing up for the waitlist it is assumed you have already auditioned for the studio with Matt Newton. If you have not auditioned yet, check our website for the next available round of open studio auditions.

POLICIES

If you are unable to make a class: We don’t offer makeups, credits or refunds for missed classes or no-shows.

If you miss more than one class per round, we are unable to guarantee your spot for the next round.
