New York City Youth/Teen TV and Film Classes
We have classes for ages 10 and up at all levels. We are intensely committed to preparing actors for the real world, and therefore we are honest, practical, and to the point. We want you to grow as an actor, and learn the ins and outs of the business, as well as your strengths and weaknesses in front of the camera. We audition all actors for our classes to ensure quality and professionalism in the work. We prepare actors for the business of acting, whether it’s stepping into an audition, or onto set. In return, we expect that you show up prepared and ready to take big risks and “dare to fail.” That’s the only way to get better. MN creates a safe, honest environment, and encourages actors to work outside their comfort zone.
Classes are 3 hours, limited to 10 students (for maximum personal attention), and are ongoing, meaning students can stay in the class for as many months as they would like, or can discuss moving to a different class. All students work each week on-camera, and receive a video of their work after each class for further personal review. To understand how our waitlist works, please visit our FAQ’s page (all new students must audition before signing up for the waitlist below).
