This four week class is for serious actors who have an idea for a short film or proof of concept pilot (or already have a rough draft), and want to polish it and bring it to life under the guidance of an experienced writer and director.   You don't have to be a writer, and you don't have to have money to bring your short film idea from concept to production.   Matt has written, crowdfunded, and directed three short films, is an expert at helping actors create their own work, and will give you tools, tricks, knowledge, feedback, and a comprehensive education in this four week course.  Limited to ten actors, each student will pitch and develop a 5-10 page project, will get feedback from Matt and other students, will learn how to crowdfund, hire a professional crew, produce their own project, and create a film festival strategy.    By the end of the four weeks, actors will have a polished short script, a game plan, and an execution strategy for their project.

  • Which crowdfunding platform is best
