This is a great one day workshop for actors who are looking to go from non-union to union work (with an agent), and want to have a clear understanding of the market. It's not about simply mailing headshots to agents, it's about networking, being business savvy, doing your research, and finding other ways to market yourself. Led by Michael Francis (Leading Artists Agency, Inc. and Producer for Fiasco Theater) and Christina Wright (Meredith Tucker Casting), this honest and informative seminar will cover many FAQ's about the acting industry, followed by an open and honest Q&A portion.

MICHAEL FRANCIS (Associate Producerfor Fiasco Theater/Leading Artists, Inc): Michael is a member of the team at Leading Artists, Inc which represents actors in TV, Film and Theater. Actors are repesented on TV as recurring and series regulars on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, HOSTAGES, HOUSE OF CARDS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HOMELAND, BANSHEE amongst many others. He joined the Fiasco Theater team in June 2010 and has been thrilled to be a part of bringing Fiasco Theater’s Cymbeline to The New Victory and it’s subsequent critically acclaimed run at Barrow Street Theater (Off Broadway Alliance Award Best Revival 2012). Fiasco Theater’s production of Into the Woods premiered in Princeton, NJ in April 2013 produced by the Tony Award winning McCarter Theatre to critical acclaim and will be seen at the Old Globe in summer 2014. In 2014 Fiasco Theater will present Measure for Measure at The New Victory Theater as well as The Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Folger Theatre in Washington, DC. He has taught master classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory, Lee Strasburg Theater and Film Institute, MN Acting Studio and Williamstown Theater Festival.

If within 7 days, we will give you credit for the amount, which can be used for a future class within the same calendar year. However, if you cancel within 48 hours of the start of the class, or miss a class for any reason, no credit is offered under any circumstances. Please understand that all classes are small, and we have a wait list, and this doesn’t leave us enough time to find a replacement.
• As our faculty are all working professional actors and coaches, we reserve the right to change teachers at any time.
• If we don't meet the minimum enrollment of 6 students for the class, we will let you know within 48 hours of the start of the class and offer a full refund or credit.
• In the event that a class is cancelled, a refund or make up session will be issued.
