Audition Coaching & Taping / Role Prep

Matt is selectively taking on professional clients (ages 8 and up) who are interested in enhancing their work in TV and film, whether to prepare for an audition, or for working on set.   For beginners, we recommend working with one of our associates (Blair or Van) on a weekly basis.

12 hour cancellation policy.  We understand that auditions come up (or are cancelled last minute), and this isn't always possible.    Please do your best to let us know as soon as we can, as our schedule is very busy.

Coaching sessions are half hour or one hour in length, and include professional taping if required.   We will read with you, coach you, tape you, choose the most competitive takes, upload, edit, and send.

Skype/Facetime coaching available for out of town clients.

TAPING INFO:  We use a solid gray wall, lavalier mic, dslr camera, and 3 point lighting.  We edit using Final cut Pro and show you the final product before you leave for the session, after which we will email directly to agents or managers if you like.

EMAIL US for our rates and to book a session, and we will respond as soon as possible.   All students currently enrolled in classes receive $20 off all private sessions.

Matt Newton has one of the most well-trained eyes for talent I’ve ever seen. With students who are learning the true craft of auditions and performance, I highly recommend him as a coach. More over, as the business continues to grow and change, so does the ‘audition’ process. Too oft are actors burdened with the task of the ubiquitous self-tape. Matt has top of the line technology and his self-tapes are 110% ready to send off to CDs, Producers, Directors, etc.. Even better, when he gets the chance to coach and tape, I could not imagine a better success rate!
